2005 Volvo S80 sedan. It is a luxury runner replete with leather-surface seats, plush carpeting and simulated wood accents. It feels rich, safe and invulnerable. The S80 features dual-stage driver- and front-passenger air bags whose inflation speed is dictated by speed of impact. And tensioners regulate the belts based on impact severity to keep the occupant in the proper position for the air bag to offer optimum protection. There's also side-impact air bags for front-seat occupants and side-impact curtains for front- and rear-seat occupants. As noted in a recent Insurance Institute for Highway Safety study, side bags/curtains that offer head protection, as the Volvo system does, reduce the risk of fatality in a side impact collision by 50 percent. The cabin itself is not lacking, with it’s supple leather, wood trim, and a premium sound system, it truly is one of the best cars all-around. Does misfire a bit, so needs tune up, but no transmission issue at all, runs and drives good, needs litte TLC, needs a side corner light, has a small dent on the passager side which can be poped out, radio does not work, Driver seat has a little wear but all other seats are in mint condition, Center Storage box does close.
