Vehicle Detail

This is a good running 1000cc bike. I purchased it recently, but am having back issues and will not be able to ride. Anyway, this bike has 106,000 on it, but has had work in the past like valves etc., (according to the previous owner). He had many collectable bikes and seemed to take very good care of them. This bike was His daily runner, but not real pretty. I was told it was always a very reliable bike. I have put in a new battery and did some regular maintenance oil change, cleaning etc. It has been non-oped since 09, but he ran the bike on his property and it only sat last winter. He drained the fuel and stored it correctly and it runs great. Yes, it is really non-oped and there are no back fees and I have the pink slip in hand. As you can see in the picture it could use some T.L.C. cosmetically, but you can ride it daily as you do the work. I have rode it about twenty five miles and it seems to work well. Also it has been made into a cafe style bike with the after market fairing ( like the s-series ?) and corbin seat. Let me know if you have any questions. It has some dents in the gas tank and the rear tire could probably be replaced some time soon. It will come with extra parts like crash bars, cables (throttle etc.), and other misc. Item's that were from another bike he had. It does have the common BMW engine noise, I am told and read that these are just that way. (like a volkswagen ?) If you know BMW bikes like these, you know what I am talking about. I have only owned kawasaki's, Honda's, Yamaha's, So the valves taping a way was new to me. Like I said it runs strong and has plenty of power and also it does not smoke. Previous owner said that if it sat for a while a trickle charger would need to be hooked up. Like I said, I put in a new $150.00 battery and after sitting a couple of weeks it was low. Not sure why, but if it is riden every few days or so, he said there is no problem. Anyway, just want to be up front. Other than that, a good daily runner that needs some T.L.C. ( I do have the rear suite case bags, but they are showing there age) Let me know if you have any questions. No Reserve!!!! Thanks!
