Up for sale is a 2000 Silver Mercury Cougar with less than 110,000 miles. I purchased this car as a project car because it needs to have the transmission replaced. I have a used replacement transmission ready to be installed but I do not have the time to install it. The person I purchased the car from started the removal of the old transmission but did not finish so it needs to be towed by trailer or car hauler and cannot be driven. I have not heard it run but was told the engine runs great and only needs a new starter solenoid because the previous owner broke the solenoid when he removed the starter from the car. The body is in decent shape with a couple small dents in the rear quarter, some real small spots of surface rust and a cracked front bumper cover. The interior is fairly dirty and needs a good cleaning. I was told the sun roof is not currently working. The car is being sold "as is" and will need to be towed, by you, to your destination.
