This listing is for a 1972 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside Deluxe edition short bed 402 Big Block with a turbo 400 transmission. I was told it is a matching numbers truck in terms of motor and transmission, but the motor does appear to be period correct and I enclosed a photo of the numbers. The motor is very quiet, doesn't leak any oil or smoke, and the transmission shifts well and doesn't leak any fluid. Some of the factory options include power brakes, power steering, interior upgrade (door panels), factory full dual exhaust all the way back, sliding back window, and short bed. Some of the newer parts include front springs and shocks, custom GT steering wheel, 12v battery, holley carburetor, headers, wires (etc.), new Indy Hurst shifter, brand new black carpet and chrome door sill plates, newer brakes in great condition, chevy bowtie emblem, glove box, wide white letter tires, and deep dish chrome wheels. The front bumper is in great excellent condition and the chrome rear step bumper has a hitch for towing and is in average condition. The tailgate works well. All the lights are functioning properly and the truck runs and shifts well with lots of power and starts up with ease. We purchased an original style radio off of Ebay as well as some extra pieces of chrome trim and a seat cover (black and silver and older style) that will be included with the truck. The upholstery is older and has a few minor tears as pictured. Seat belts are included under the seat, but have not been bolted in the new floor pans. The truck has been slightly lowered for a custom rat rod look and has been sprayed in black primer. There is some rust present, but many panels were replaced including the cab corners, rocker panels, some floor work, etc. What remains is mostly surface rust and is predominantly limited to the bed as pictured. We just have too many vehicles and really need to free up some cash (and driveway space!) for summer projects. There hasn't been a big block 1972 C10 listed in the last month on Ebay so these certainly have become rare and collectible; our truck would make for an excellent restoration candidate, especially with a restored value of well over 30,000! However, this is a 39 year-old truck that is USED and in driver-condition and sold AS-IS with NO guarantees (what you see is what you get).
