OK. Here it is. For sale is a 1993 Mazda 929 in excellent original condition. We bought this car from a local guy who bought it from a family he worked for here in Sarasota. He told me, he had told them when they were ready to sell it to let him know. The car was a one owner used as a vacation vehicle when they wintered here in Florida. He bought it in April of this year with the intention to resell. He only had the car 8 days and then we bought it. So for all intents and purposes, this is a one owner car. I am a car fanatic and have always loved these vehicles. You rarely see them for sale, and when you do, they are usually high mileage and rough. This one is in excellent condition with very low mileage. I already have 4 cars and this one makes five. I really don't have room for it (its in the garage and the wife's Lexus is outside) so she said something has to go! I will try to describe as accurately as possible. I have bought and sold many vehicles on ebay, so I understand the importance of an accurate description. If the description sounds overly critical, please understand that I want you to know exactly what your getting, but the car is beautiful. History. One family owned, in Florida since new. Used as a vacation vehicle during the winter. Hence, the low mileage. Condition. Excellent. Exterior. Shows some MINOR door dings on each side, hardly noticeable. Paint is in excellent glossy condition and the car has been garage kept its whole life. Vehicle history report shows an accident. I questioned the owner about this and he stated the family told him, years ago, someone backed into the the rear bumper in a shopping center parking lot. They were proud to say it wasn't their fault! I am a car guy and I see no sign of repair except for maybe the bumper cover, but I can't tell. I haven't given it another thought. Glass is in excellent condition. Front tires 90%, Rear new (I put them on). Wheels are in good shape with some minor rash. Interior. Leather is in great shape. Has original 929 floor mats. I sent the original radio/CD changer out to be repaired as it was not working so thats why its not in the pictures. It is back in and working fine. Has cassette with 6 CD changer and amp in the trunk. Ice cold automatic air. Sunroof. Power window and locks. Cruise. The tachometer works but reads low. The electronic trunk/fuel filler door release button is broken from the mount on the door panel, but they both work as they should. Everything else is in excellent condition and works as it should. Engine. Runs great. It is whisper quiet inside and you can't even hear it running. From the exterior it has an intermittent slight lifter noise which is barely audible. I brought it to the dealer and had the technician come out and listen to it. He said they really don't have problems with that on those engines. He asked what kind of driving I do and I told him the history of the car. He said take it out on the road and should be fine. He said it won't hurt the engine either. It seems to be doing it less and less and I'm sure it will go away. It doesn't do it all the time and has no effect on the way it runs. Transmission. Shifts firm and accurate and operates as it should. When I got this car, I went through it with a fine tooth comb. Here is a list of what I did. 1-Engine coolant flush. 2-Oil and filter. 3-Transmission flush. 4-Differential flush. 5-New rear tires. 6-Detailed interior, exterior and engine compartment. 7-Sent out radio for repair. 8-Replace air filter. 9-Replaced wiper blades. This car is whisper quiet and goes down the road beautiful. On the interstate its quiet and stable. Its one of the nicest 929s you will find. Email with questions and happy bidding.
