1989 PORSCHE 928 GT MODEL. This vehicle was bought from a collector at the Barret Jackson Auction in 2008. This is the RARE GT model which is almost impossible to find in this condition. 1989 was actually the most sought after year due to the lighter weight, and different rear differential. This car drives amazing, extremely solid as a Porsche should be and handles as it should. The car is completely stock with the exception of Devek sway bars and strut tower brace. In addition the AC system has been converter to r134. Boxster S wheels have been added as depicted in the pictures. If you are a Porsche connoisseur then you may not this, but these are the differences between the S4 models and the GT model. *the GT has more precise pistons *different camshafts with higher lift and more duration *lighter, more free flowing exhaust *Different engine computer mapping *Higher rev limit of 6800 rpm vs 6600 *Torque Peak 4100 rpm vs 3200 rpm *17mm Bolt on spacers and FACTORY cringed fenders for wider track width The exterior of the vehicle has no damage and has NEVER had any damage. Paint is in excellent condition with very minimal defects. It has been driven. The car has always been stored inside and has only seen the outside while driving. This car has to be one of the finest "driven" examples of any 928 gt out there. The rear bumper was scraped and paint chipped. It was repainted at that time. There was absolutely no damage other than the bumper needing repainting.
