Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE BEING SOLD AS-IS Condition is overall rough. The car has no problem driving 75-80 mph. Transmission shifts perfectly (no problems there). Power windows and locks. The AC is very cold and the heat works exceptionally well too. When I step on the gas, I hear something loose, but it's not inside the engine. It sounds like it's a mount. Idles rough too. Sounds like a leak in a vacuum line, but I am unsure. The door panels were taken off by the previous owner, and are only hanging in the picture (not secured). The car does have current plates and tabs I am waiting on a title, but do have proof of ownership, so for now it's being sold only as a parts car. If I could tighten whatever it is that's loose under the hood, fix the vacuum problem, and attach the door panels, I believe it would be a good car, minus the overall condition of the exterior paint. Low retail for this car is $3,425 Here's a link to the car on NADA: http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1986/Mercedes-Benz/190E/4-Door-Sedan/Values 1986 MERCEDES-BENZ 190 City16 mpg (14.7 litres/100km)Hwy25 mpg (9.4 litres/100km)Combined19 mpg (12.4 litres/100km)Yearly Fuel Cost$853Figures adjusted for EPA's new 2008 estimation method. I exchanged the blown fuse and it rolled up but blew two fuses before it was finished. Fog lights now work too. It was just a blown fuse. Still have no idea as to why the heat, ac, or the fan won't function. I estimate that it has something to do with the switch or a relay I am unaware of. Email me for additional photos. They are in my email, but am having issues loading them on ebay. There are also a couple short videos that show the car starting, running, and driving. On Jul-01-11 at 18:59:15 PDT, seller added the following information: ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CAR HAS AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AS STATED IN THE DETAILS WITHIN THE LISTING. IN THE 2008 FUEL CONSUMPTION, IT IS REPORTED TO HAVE A 5 SPEED MANUAL (WHICH IT DOES NOT). THIS WAS A MISTAKE MADE WHEN INPUTTING VEHICLE INFORMATION. ****************** THE PREVIOUS UPDATES TO THIS LISTING ARE NOT ALL FOR THIS 1986 MERCEDES-BENZ. SOME OF THEM ARE FOR THE 1987 THAT I AM CURRENTLY SELLING TOO. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE ************************** THE FOLLOWING ARE ACCURATE UPDATES: Email me for additional photos.
