This 56 spent it’s entire life in a texas garage. Unable to find any body work, or any repaint, all paint appears to be original, all panels are original and rust free! We have ran all the numbers on this car and find it correct. This car is not a project car with just a little work it could be a daily driver. The 31k miles are assumed to be original and the tranny shifts smooth. A paint job and new interior this would be a great show car. Or if someone wanted a real classic american icon this is a great place to start. The Numbers rundown VIN=VC56KO71916V=8CYL 240056= YEAR 1956K= BUILT IN KANSAS 071916 PRODUCTION NUMBER TRIM TAG STYLE=56-10190 4 DR SEDANBODY NUMBER=KI6151 KANSAS PRODUCTION NUMBER 16151TRIM NUMBER=577 TURQUOISEPAINT=710D TURQUOISE / IVORY BLOCK BLOCK NUMBER=F725F, 265 170HP W/ POWER GLIDE Engine The engine appears to be all original it is missing the factory air cleaner and I assume the original Carb it now has a small 4bbl. everything else appears to be factory. The engine starts right up and sounds great no smoke and no knocks of any kind. the engine block code is F725F. The Exterior Wow!! all original paint, all original steel, a few door dings here and there, but other than that the car is in incredible shape. The pans, trunk, frame, and all exterior surfaces are free of rust and very straight. All chrome is there but one small piece around the rear window. The chrome has a very nice luster still. the door handles work. All the lights work and the high beams work one head light appears to be a original, The right hand turn signal works but the left one doesn’t blink. The dome light still works and so does the brake lights. Amazing what dry southern air will do for a car. The windshield wipers still work off of vacuum. The Interior The interior has never had anything done to it all. The car could be driven as is but the car does need interior.
