Vehicle Detail
For sale is my classic Honda CJ360T motorcycle. This bike is in superb shape, runs great, and very low mileage. I have owned it a little over two years, and selling because I have another bike and need the space in garage. It has been stored in my garage the past two years. I purchased it locally, and think it was purchased from a dealer in Ohio prior. It appears they did some maintenance and cleaned it up before I owned it. I have ridden as-is regularly. I do not know the history otherwise, but the paint is in great shape and the mechanics seem to be too. If any parts have been replaced they are not aftermarket, and the bike looks original. It is kickstart only, and has one key. The battery was almost new when I purchased two years ago. It could stand to be detailed and have chrome polished. This bike could be restored to show condition with only a little bit of work. There are no tears in the seat, just a tiny white blemish. No dents in tank. Some pitting in chrome due to age. The muffler has two small holes (see pics) smaller than a dime. There is some strange corrosion or scrapes on top of pipe (see pic), very little rust overall. A previous owner had drilled holes in seat rail and rear cowl to accomodate a backrest (pics). I've seen these pieces pop up on ebay and not terribly expensive if you want to replace. Mechanically, the only issue I've had is the idle wants to stay high after running a while, and drops back once in gear. Will probably need some new tires soon, the rear is in better shape than front (pics), and possibly some fork seals, and a tune-up. The brakes could maybe be better, but I'm comparing this to a much newer and bigger bike with discs. Overall though, this classic bike is in fantastic condition. Mechanics and electrics all work. Mileage will be slightly higher upon sell, as I ride it once a week to keep the juices flowing. I will be glad to send more pics and answer any questions on request, and do my best to accomodate your shipping arrangements as necessary. Local pick-up available. Listed locally, so will end this ad if sold. I have an original vintage ad, and a very good condition Clymer service manual w/color wiring diagram I will include with sale. Clear title in-hand. Thanks for looking!
