Vehicle Detail
Selling 1972 510 wagon, body in "fair" condition, L18 engine is in good condition, starts/runs and is driveable but the brakes are shot. Good project for restoration. Following is a list of items that needs work: brakes, carbuerator, rear diff leaks, windshield and rear glass leak, some rust, tires shot, front and rear shocks worn, exhaust, clutch hydraulics, all window glass rubbers. List of good items: engine, clutch, electrical system, window glass, tailgate, body mostly straight, factory tach (rare), custom towing hitch welded to frame. Last registered and driven regularly in 2009. This wagon is looking for a good home and owner that wants to restore it. Serious buyers only, no parts will be sold off this car separately, winning buyer must buy the entire vehicle as is. On Jun-26-11 at 07:17:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: Original L16 engine was replaced in 1989 with new L18 engine. L18 engine has less than 30,000 miles, good compression all 4 cylinders, just needs new carb and hoses. Clutch and original 4-speed transmission are also healthy. On Jun-27-11 at 21:55:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: This 510 Wagon was last CA DMV registered in 2009. Currently is under CA DMV Non-Operational Vehicle status. $69.00 to register thru December 2011. Pink slip is clear and in hand, ready to transfer to the winning bidder. On Jul-01-11 at 20:36:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: a little further detail on the brakes: the brakes require a total overhaul: master cylinder, lines cleaned/flushed, new pads & rotors, slave cylinders, etc. rear drums and pads also need work. normal type stuff for a 40 year old vehicle that has never had a complete brake system overhaul.
