1969 Scout 800a 266 V8, BW Automatic Transmission, 4x4, Power Drum Brakes, New Holly Carb, New Fuel / Vacuum Pump, Rebuilt Alternator, New Complete Exhaust, New Solenoid, Engine Completely Resealed and Painted in 2010 (Engine rebuilt by 2nd owner in 2003; was in restoration from 2007-2010, odometer reads 93k but actual mileage unknown), Interior Floor Herculined, New KYB Shocks, Custom Rims, Tires have 90% Tread, Engine serviced with SWEPCO 306 oil, Transmission Fluid Serviced. Manual steering. All gauges work. AM/FM Radio works. Locks work. Wipers work. Manual choke. Heavy-duty front bumper (just missing the winch). Data front and rear differential (44 rear, 30 front, 3:73, positraction) Bucket seats have covers (can find new replacement [black vinyl] seats for $170 each). Missing glove box liner. Dual gas tanks – switch works. Drive it (conservatively) at least four times a week to keep it fresh. Paint job is decent but not the best. No rust on body. Hardtop has not been touched so there is surface rust on interior (just needs sanding to remove). Have door/window seals but currently not installed due to future repaint. 5th owner. Have knowledge of 1st and 2nd owner and know the 4th – all in southern California. Appraised at $10,000 in August 2010 (have appraisal form for insurance purposes).
