I'm listing this truck for a friend. Below are his comments and phone number. Long wheel base, straight body... Pretty much everything under the hood is new.... clutch, carburetor, spark plugs and wires, distributor & cap, coil, fuel pump, water pump, alternator, radiator, harmonic balancer, starter, battery, hoses.. all replaced within the last 2 years... it even has a brand new (new original stock) intake/ exhaust manifold with new exhaust pipe and a new glass pack muffler. Classic "3 on the tree", 3 speed, 250 inline six motor with 92,670 miles on it (original motor). I am the second owner. I bought from a girl who's grandfather passed away. He bought it new in 1969. I just put brand new tires on it 2 months ago. It was professionally aligned by a local gm dealership when tires were installed. Drives great, does 75 on the highway like its nothing. It's been my only transportation for the last 2 years and it's never let me down. Starts right up with a turn of the key. It does have some minor rust (it's the original paint)...just needs a decent paint job and you can drive it to the car shows!!! Floor boards are great... just a little rust on the rocker panels (normal for these old trucks). Seat has tear in it on drivers side... just got a quote from a local upholstery shop, you can have the seat redone ($270), visors ($80), and dash ($70)... so $420 and the interior is ready for show!!!! I hate to let it go just don't have room for it anymore, and planning to start a family... so gotta get rid of one of my toys!!! Issues: Windshield cracked, dash vinyl cracked, seat torn, rust on rockers, wiper spray does not work (wipers work just fine), missing small metal trim piece on back bed gate.
