Vehicle Detail

1972 Chevy Blazer CST K5, 350 engine, A/C, 4 speed, restored original in VERY nice condition, no rust and runs excellent. I bought this Blazer from the original owner and it has 136,000 miles and has the original engine. I checked the engine block number and the last 3 digits (TDC) match up to the Protect-O-Plate. It has been taken care of all of his life and never been abused. It has the original Ochre paint and still shines. Original hub caps and rims, but I installed new BF Goodrich 31x10.50 tires. I installed a new dash pad, new factory looking interior (seats and carpet), new HEI ignition, new Dynomax mufflers with headers (sounds nice and mellow) NOT loud at all, new clutch, new U-Joints, new shock absorbers, new brakes, and new spark plugs and filters. It has original A/C which blows nice and cold. The original jack and rods are included. It even has the original spare tire! There is one small dent in the back driver side below the original molding, it is hard to see. I added an original Chevy AM/FM radio but also added a nice Sony in the glovebox with a remote on the console. I can play both radios but the Sony has a USB connection and I can play 1,000+ songs from my Iphone or Ipod. It sounds very good with the 6x9 speakers I put in. The top is in very good condition and I built an H-Frame to hang it up in the one car garage I always store it in. I bolted it down to wood to preserve it. The valve cover seals and rear main seals were replaced, and when the clutch was replaced, the transfer case seals were also replaced. The Blazer does not leak any oil. I have the Protect-O-Plate and other documentation such as owners manual, hub information, Chevy papers, etc... Everything works on my K5 except for the windshield washer fluid. I never got around to changing it since I love driving it with the top off. My K5 has never been in the rain since in my possession (4+ years). Clear title with current plates and inspection sticker. I know these 71-72 Chevy trucks and Blazers very well and you will not be disappointed with this one, it runs and drives great. I hate to sell my K5 but I'm selling it to expand my business and need extra capital. I have added these original factory options to my Blazer...Hard to find original factory tilt steering.Wood steering wheel with horn that works perfect.Original AM/FM Radio with factory speaker.Original Chevy Blazer Tow Hooks.Original Chevy '72 K5 Gauges which includes; tachometer, vacuum gauge, 80 lb oil pressure gauge, water temp, speed and fuel, nice restored set.Sony radio installed with 6x9 box speakers and remote console connected, it sounds very nice!I will include the original steering wheel, points distributor, exhaust manifolds, AM radio, and the original console SS ash tray plate.Added dual factory battery tray.Added front bumpers.Added factory lights inside glovebox and under dash.Shoulder seat belts added to back seat and passenger's, easily removable with hooks & latches.Even the lights inside the top work.New glovebox.New seatsNew carpet with jute pad backing and FATMAT sound reduction.Original 1972 Texas License Plates.I will add a link to over 30+ pictures and video, I have nothing to hide with my Blazer, you could drive it across the country.EMAIL me for more information or additional pictures, thank you. On Jun-22-11 at 09:18:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had many questions about my Blazer. I will get with it and post many more pictures, 30-40+ more and even if I have time a video, thank for your patience. Email me your questions and I'll be happy to answer them. I have nothing to hide, the K5 is in very nice original condition. On Jun-23-11 at 20:04:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a link to over 130 pictures. The Blazer is sold as-is, please ask any questions you may have. I will try to post a link to a 20 minute video, thank you. http://www.flickr.com/photos/64403442@N02/ On Jun-23-11 at 20:58:32 PDT, seller added the following information: I like the 71-72 Chevy Trucks and Blazers because as many of you know they came with factory front wheel disc brakes, and the brakes work great. The 4WD works perfect, power steering excellent, and even the cigarette lighter works with the inside element housing light coming on as well when you turn on the lights.
