Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a very restorable 1966 Maserati Mistral with the 4.0 liter fuel injected engine. This car hasn't seen the light of day since the mid 70's until recently for a quick dust off and photo session. I purchased this car from my father 20 years ago and never got around to doing anything with it. The car is in exceptionally good condition and I believe it may even be the original paint on it. The floors are solid and even the exhaust is still usable. It is all original except for the front seats and is basically 99.99% complete. Only thing I noticed missing is the ashtray. This is an awesome candidate for a restoration. The body which is all aluminum has very little corrosion, the glass is perfect, trim is straight and dent free and the body only has one dent other than what ever the previous owner prior to my father was working on on the nose which I doubt was even significant. It appears theree was a small fire in the engine compartment that burned the coils and the wiring to it. I guess that it was relagated the car off the road in the 70's. Keep in mind this is the rarest version outside of the spyder with its 4.0 liter engine, 15" knock off wire wheels and aluminum body. Feel free to ask for any other info you may desire. On Jun-27-11 at 13:56:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Up for auction is a very restorable 1966 Maserati Mistral with the 4.0 liter fuel injected engine.
