BOSS 302 PROJECT. REAL G CODE MUSTANG (BOSS 302) THIS CAR HAS ALL FORD SHEET METAL EXCEPT THE FLOOR PANS THAT HAVE BEEN PATCHED WITH PATCH PANELS AND THE HOOD ALTHOUGH THE HOOD IS REPRO FROM FORD TOOLING.WING, LOUVERS, INTERIOR, TAIL LIGHTS AND WHEELS ARE REPRODUCTION. TAIL LIGHTS ARE REPRO FROM FORD TOOLINGTHE RADIO ANTENNA HOLE, MUSTANG REAR DECK LETTERING AND SIDE MARKER LIGHTS HAVE BEEN DELETED. IT HAS BEEN MY INTENTION TO GIVE THIS CAR A MORE COMPETITION TRANS-AM LOOK SO NO SIDE MARKER LIGHTS. NO MOTOR, NO TRANSMISSION, NO WIRING. THE CAR IS BEING AUCTIONED AS YOU SEE IT IN THE PHOTOS. CAR DOES COME WITH RE UPHOLSTERED FRONT SEATS.FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION, SPINDLES, BREAKS ARE CORRECT BUT NOT DETAILED. THEY LOOK 41 YEARS OLD. MISSING ORIGINAL REAR-END. 4:11s CURRENTLY. MORE DESCRIPTION TO COME BUT START ASKING QUESTIONS. THAT SEEMS TO BE THE BEST WAY TO GET STARTED. On Jun-20-11 at 21:38:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I believe the car is very well priced for what it is. I'm $30K+ and I would challenge anyone to get a Dynacorn or donor/clone to this point at this price and, oh yeah, IT WOULD NOT BE A G CODE. $26,000 comes with almost everything to finish the car Sans Motor/Trans and some electrical. have fold down, 2 hoods 1 shaker 1 not, reproduction shaker assy. Some NOS parts too Front bumper, headlight doors, hood front lip, eyebrows. Here is additional info. The car was a driver in 2002 did not have "Boss" motor had a 5.0 and trans from a 94 mustang. Restoration started in 2003-04 but the owner ran out of cash and interest. The car sat for 5 years and I bought in Nov 2008. I spent considerable money to be sure any and all rust issues were addressed and fixed properly. This was performed by Mustang Beginnings in Marina Ca.. They specialize in mustangs it's all they do all day every day. I did not try to take the underside of the car to anything beyond a 7-8 on a 1-10 scale. I just didn't see the point on a "Plane Jane" low Op. Boss My goal was to make it a Gorgeous driver and it is well on the way to be just that.On Jun-27-11 at 22:39:25 PDT, seller added the following information: 1970 BOSS 302 SELLS AT OC BARRETT-JACKSON AUCTION FOR OVER $93,000 http://www.barrett-jackson.com/application/onlinesubmission/lotdetails.aspx?ln=343.1&aid=423&pop=0 A DYNACORN AFTERMARKET 70 FB MUSTANG WOULD COST $16,000 + AT LEAST ANOTHER $15,000+ TO GET TO THIS POINT.
