Time to sell my 99 Vehicross, as I have been told I have too many toys. This Vehicross is in excellent condition with black and red Recardo seats, remote start, ice cold air, nice cd player with amp. roof rack, newer tires, nice class 3 hitch, automatic " Traction on demand " 4WD. The vehicle has 104k on it, and the engine was replaced at 92k, with a very expensive rebuild fron Orient Engines in Kentucky. This is a 3.5 litre, all aluminum overhead cam, V6. It is rated around 220 hp. Cost was around $4,000. This was not a junkyard replacement. The engine runs like new, and has only 12k on it. The Vehicross is a small suv that goes thru snow great, and handles like a sports car. Check out the many sites and clubs on the net to find out more. It gets looks and questions where ever I go, as there are only 3 here in Erie Pa. After seeing one locally, I thought it was very cool, and found this one here on the internet around 8 years ago. I flew to Boston, and drove it home. It ran great until I drove it with low oil. hence the engine replacement. ( My very expensive bad ) Believe me, this engine gets checked and changed regularly. All Vehicross have an issue with the power windows not staying on track. I replaced the window assemblys in both doors, and they both work pretty good. Sometimes one tilts, and you have to strighten it on the way up. The Vehicross forums are loaded with different ideas how to correct. Just mentioned it to be honest, and advise you this is not a brand new vehicle. It is 12 years old, and not perfect. But, it is in great condition, with shiney paint, no rust, and very nice interior. This Vehicross has not been 4 wheeled, mudded , or any of that. I am 57 years old, wayyyy past that stage. It is all stock except for a SS turbo muffler, ( sounds good and mellow ), the stock muffler sounded like a vaccuum cleaner. Also, the hood scoop is not stock, but only taped on. ( I think it adds to the looks ) but you can take it off. Please , only bid if you are serious, and can afford to purchase. Anyone with 0 feedback, please contact me before bidding. In answer to questions, The engine core was returned 12/19/05, Sequence # 2318, ( found shipping receipt for returning core), It was a completely rebuilt exact replacement, done and warranted for 3 years by, Orient Engines 32 Hammer Drive Falmouth, KY 41040 It runs as it should, doesn't use oil, and has a remote start that works great. I towed a small model airplane trailer a couple of time with it, that's about it. I don't think you will find a nicer Vehicross out there that is original paint, unmodified, not dented up or abused, with rust free body, AND a new engine. The vehicle is legit, I would drive it anywhere. Check my feedback, and bid with confidence. If you like the Vehicross, one like this doesn't come along every day.
