Just in Time for Summer A Timeless Classic “1966 Cadillac Deville Convertible” Up for auction is my Stunning 1966 Cadillac Convertible. Finished in a magnificent Red with White interior. The Deville has all the options, power windows, power steering (with cooler), power locks, power top, power seat and yes AC, in addition to head light dimmer(rare factory option). The Cadillac still maintains its original radio and power antenna, which both work very well. The car is very, very good condition and is an original California car. For those who follow this incredible brand, the traditional engineering excellence is well recognized, with a 429 cubic inch V8 engine rated at 340hp and a massive 480lb/ft of torque (engine and trans where both gone through @3500 miles ago and runs fantastic), teamed with the excellent Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission which first appeared in 1964. Noise, vibration and harshness were reduced greatly as well, thanks to a newly patented ultra-quiet exhaust system as well as the improved box-perimeter frame, four-link style rear suspension and revised engine placement. I have just replaced the original Rochester Quadra-jet with a New Edlebrock replacement carb(model 1406 with electric choke) for better performance and fuel economy. I did just replace the original hub-caps with a set of after-market spokes as you can see in thr photos to add to the elegance of the car. I have set the reserve low, so please don’t email me and ask what the reserve is as I will not release it. One last thing, the car still has the original Jack and spare.
