Collectors dream, a true barn find!! All original Honda atc 125m. I found this ATC in a ladies garage (outbuilding.) it was purchased in 1985 for her then 15 year old son, he used it at their river home to travel to and from his relatives house and the river that summer about a mile round trip. as soon as he got a car the atc was parked in the garage and forgotten. it sat there until 2003 when the grandmother decided to get it out to see if the grandchildren could use it. The gas tank was found to be leaking so she had it repaired (see pics) Needless to say they never used it and it went back into the building. It has very low hours as you can see by the tire tread and the original decals. The original honda plastic is very shiney and the seat is in great shape! I had to put a tube in the front and a plug in one of the rear tires due to dry cracking. just so I could try it out. If you want an atv that will be very easy to restore to show room condition this is it!! It has been ridden so it is not perfect there are some minor scuffs and rust here and there. it will need a resto. However finding an 1985 atc in this shape with this little use is almost impossible. it is like a time capsule.I put some gas in the tank, "after i made sure it was clean". and on the second pull it started right up and runs perfectly. It has electric start but I didn't put in a battery and try it, although there is no reason it shouldn't work. It idles so smooth you can barely hear it run. i rode it around and all of the gears work as they should and the Hi- Lo range does as well. Keep in mind this is a 25+ year old trike it has some minor rust and pitting here and there (see pics) but it is as close to riding a brand new 1985 atc 125m as you can get. If you are a collector in need of a 125m this will make you very happy!! I hope it is bought by someone who will keep it in pristine condition, but if you win it it is yours do with it what you please. also comes with original shop manual.Good luck and happy bidding! any questions please call 540 664 2808 Thanks TonyOn Jun-19-11 at 04:44:41 PDT, seller added the following information: It still has the original tool kit with all of the factory tools in it. look closely at the pics and you can see some specs on top of the tank those are rust spots from the key chain they had attached to the key hitting the tank and it must have scuffed thru the paint in spots.just wanted to point that out. and my reserve is way below the buy it now. any bidders are welcome to see the atc in person just call me to set up a time.
