Up for aution is my fathers restored 1978 Chevrolet Corvette, 25th Anniversary, L-82 car. With much regret, I have decided that it is time to move-on and part with this wonderful car that is in excellent restored condition. The car was a three year project with a detail for originality and completeness with no after-market, (foreign), parts used. This car is the L-82 350/220 hp model with the stock 350 automatic transmission, and has power steering, power disc brakes, factory airconditioning, power windows, power radio antenna, tilt and telescopic steering wheel. removable hardtops, original factory gauges, leather seats and with factory am/fm radio. The following restoration has been completed in a professional manner; complete original engine rebuild with approximately 300 miles driven since, new engine components as follows; alternator, generator, water pump, fuel pump, power steering pump, distributor, spark plugs, and starter motor. In addition to the engine mechanics the following items have been replaced with new parts; airconditioning condenser coil, four core radiator, complete transmission rebuild, front wheel bearings, rear trailing arm rebuild to include new inner and outer bearings, all universal joints half shafts and drive shaft, fuel tank sending unit, front and rear shocks, all tie rods, all ball joints, master brake cylinder, master brake booster, all brake lines, all brake calipers and shoes, steering ram /controller and all new tires. Interior restoration includes a new dashboard, storage compartments, center console, master gauge lens and interior carpet. The exterior paint is original and in good overall condition. This car drives wonderful and has been a pleasure to own and gets a fair amount of attention when you drive it. Although the car cost a small fortune to restore my father always did everything by the book, "the right way" and it shows!
