Vehicle Detail
These are pretty rare. The white ones were only made in '86 and '87 but, if you're looking at this, you probably already know it. This is a really clean and mostly original 1986 dual purpose bike. Currently licensed and stored inside. Like new tires, engine rebuilt 3 years ago (800 miles ago), new rear turn lights, clear title. Replacement handlebars, the battery is a bit over-sized. The bike starts by the third kick no matter how long it sits. Runs great, no smoke. No dents. Includes a service manual and an extra heavy duty rear tube. A few tiny chips in the tank and some black missing on the front number plate. Two small holes on the back corners of the seat and the strap was missing and replaced with a black one. Great fun bike on and off road. Approximately 70 mpg. There is a reserve but it's reasonable. I'll drain the fluids for shipment, if necessary, but arrangements for shipment are all up to the buyer. I will deliver up to 50 miles free (on a trailer). On Jun-18-11 at 19:35:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I just remembered that the tail light lens was cracked and I epoxied it. It hasn't been a problem so I forgot. Sorry about that but I want to be as honest as possible about the condition. On Jun-19-11 at 17:25:53 PDT, seller added the following information: In an interest of fairness, I told one bidder the reserve so I will pass it on to the rest. Because this model comes up so seldom, I just used the few that sold for around $1200.00 and set a reserve for $1100.00. And answering his other question, the bike is kick start, not electric. Any other questions, please let me know. Thanks for looking. On Jun-21-11 at 18:06:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Just noticed today when someone came to look at the bike (and test drive it) that the left blinker isn't as fast as the right. I'll take a look but let's assume it still blinks more slowly. It started on the second or third kick after being unused for at least a week (first kick for all restarts).
