A beautiful first production year 1965 C-code 2+2 Fastback is ready for summer and if you're in Michigan also, the Woodward Dream Cruise! I have owned the car for 16 years, the original 289 engine and C4 trans are in the vehicle. Highlights of the Powertrain-> Matching Body/Engine/Trans, odometer shows 62453. The 289 was rebuilt in 1997, about 10k summer-only miles put on since, with a matched set of Edelbrock camshaft/aluminum intake/4 barrel carb in addition to electric fan, headers and duel exhaust to give her some more pep and keep her cool. The underhood area is in exceptional shape as seen in photos. The trans was rebuilt in 2008, about 2k summer-only miles since, to replace all seals-> this car is 100% leak free. Highlights of the Chassis-> the wheels are Mangel's Cragar-Thrust-Style with raised white wall BF Goodrich 14's which look phenomenal, the car has been converted from power to manual steer to eliminate the endless PS leaks which plague classic Mustangs. Highlights of the Body-> Doors/hood/trunk open clean and align as they should, exterior and interior look great as shown in photos and are in factory colors as they should be, no rust only sees the sunshine. A couple gauges have been cleanly added to interior to monitor RPM and Water temp/Oil pressure/Voltage. Seats, lighting and headliner are flawless. Some trim is original and hence hints at age, but also shows character. The trunk has the correct era floor, spare and jumper cable covers as well as a very cool accessory bag. Overall the car drives great and is a true summer cruiser in every sense, whether to the local ice cream store or a drive along the freeway to get to a nearby car show.
