70 Stage 1 , documented real stage 1with build sheet and Sloan paperwork. It does not have its original power train. I will desribe this car accurrately as I would want of you.I don't know much about its history, it did come to Canada out of the USA. Has good running 455 with its stage 1 heads and other parts. TA cam , oil mods etc. engine has few miles on it. Transmission as well is low miles and performs well. Diff is 2:73 posi and provides excellent drivability , car is still fast and cruises at 60 MPH at 2200 RPM. I drove this car for 12 hrs at 75 mph and is was amazing how nice it was. All mechanical components are new or nearly new. All control arms, steering parts, disc brakes, carb, starter , battery etc etc again are new or close to new. Drive this one anywhere anytime. ps, the rear main is not leaking ! I just changed it with the TA one. The exhaust is 2.5 mandrel bent and the manifolds are ceramic coated. The body is in very good condition. The paint is nice, the panels are straight, rad support is fine, good fender bottoms, doors etc. The floor pans are in great shape, still has factory sound deadener in place , never lifted other than me inspecting the floor pans. The trunk pan is decent, no indication of any repairs. This car was born aqua mist, it was apart when done white, you need to read the cowl tag to know otherwise. Vinyl top is new, there was no rust at all underneath it. All the chrome and stainless on this car is very nice, bumpers done, you would not want to restore any of it, grille is new ( nos) windshield and back glass good and not leaking at all. Side glass is shaded and has the usual minor scratches, all windows function and seal well, the side mirrors have been completely restored and you Buick guys know how rare the right side one is, they are both perfect. The wheels are original and with good chrome, the tires are new and are Michelins from Diamond Back, they provide super ride. The interior has all been changed, the door panels are old repops but are still ok. The headliner is new, pkg tray as well and jute, the sail panel lenses are correct with logo. The seats, front and rear, are new and done well, look and feel right. The console chrome has been replated. Dashpad is fine, bezel decent, rally pack guages are new as well as the tach, speedo works well and records correct speed. Steering wheel is from a GSX and has a thicker rim dia and the overall wheel diameter is one inch less. Radio is new along with the front dual speaker. Heater core changed, works well as do the wipers and everything else. I think I have covered everything, I am a long time Buick guy, have had many 70 Stage 1 cars, this one is real and needs nothing. Due to its powertrain it is not big money and if it sells, somebody is going to get a beautifull , properely done, driver quality real stg 1 car that can be driven and enjoyed, as mentioned above, it has great driveability due to its drivetrain combination.
