Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1949 Ford Custom. This car has a one-piece removable California top. The top has been chopped, the side windows filled, the door handles shaved, and the car has been lowered. The car has been owned by one of my good friends that is 76 years old and not in great health. The car has not been driven much in several years. The car still has the old flat head V8. The car was restored several years ago and needs a few little things fixed. The brakes will lose pressure after setting, there are a few moisture bubbles around the gas cap, above the fender skirt on the passenger side, and where the doors were shaved, there is a bubble on both doors. The paint has a few chips and normal wear. The interior is very nice, and overall the car has a little work to be show quality. This car is very nice and always gets a lot of compliments everywhere you go. The motor has been rebuilt a few years ago and is very strong. The car is very straight and solid. I have tried to represent this car very fair and accurate. If you want any additional pictures please ask. The car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to remove the posting if the reserve has not been met. The reserve has been set low for the car to sell. If you cannot follow the guidelines with the deposit and balance due timeline, please do not bid Please take a look at all of the pictures and attached video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCKEMx3SG_I Thanks, Jon 479-903-3506 On Jun-18-11 at 16:51:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had several request to see a current picture with the top off. Attached is a video of the car I took today without the top. Thanks for all of the questions and interest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUwcnX2_POQ
