The original chrome trim is intact and seems original. The car has newer Mercedes chrome wheels with two decent and two lackluster tires. THE INTERIOR The interior of this Benz is in quite original somewhat tattered condition with factory electric sunroof, electric windows, original phone, wood trim and leather seating [worn and cracked leather and some fraying in carpet]. The odometer shows 50,XXX miles but the actual miles are unknown. I believe the radio functions. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This classic Benz starts and runs but smokes out the tailpipe. I am told one bad piston ring [?]. The car drives well and fairly solid down the road [I drove it many miles before the engine started smoking]. The suspension is fairly supple and the car tracks and brakes well. I recommend towing versus driving it but up to you. THE DETAILS AND $$$$$$ 1.
