You are bidding on a 2003 BMW K1200RS motorcycle. Bike has just over 40K miles. It looks great and runs great - we've had absolutely no issues with it in the three years we've had it. Tires (Metezler Z6) have less than 1K on them. Factory accessories include heated grips, cruise control, and ABS. Additional accessories include BMW side cases painted to match, a carbon fiber tank protector, and a power outlet up near the dash. This bike is smooth and fast. 130hp, 86 ft-lbs of torque. 0-60 according to the magazines at 3.8 seconds. Yet, it provides all day comfort. Title is clear and in-hand. Remember, Illinois buyers only pay $25 in sales tax on a private-party motorcycle sale. Local inspection is welcome - send me a message and we'll arrange a time. Test rides: Riding a motorcycle with which you are not familiar is dangerous for both you and me. I will CONSIDER a test ride only under these conditions: 1) You possess a valid M class license, 2) you have current insurance on a motorcycle, 3) you show up on a bike that weighs at least 500 lbs and is at least 750 cc and make it obvious that you are proficient on it, and 4) you give me a $500 deposit in cash to cover my deductible - returned if you bring the bike back in the same condition. Shipping: Shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer, however, I will gladly work with you to arrange for pickup/shipping. If you are within 200 miles of me, we might be able to work out delivery. I'll gladly help out with a fly-and-ride. Payment: $1000 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close via PayPal. Remainder due within 7 days by cash or cashier's check. I must be able to verify the validity of the cashier's check before bike and/or title will be surrendered.
