1953 FORD CUSTOMLINE 2 DOOR. 50th Anniversery Edition. Last year for the flathead V8 motor. This is a great little Southern car, that has been in Kentucky or Mississippi all it's life. Car appears never to have been wrecked, floors and trunk in good condition. Has dual exhaust, recent tune up with new plugs, points, wires, hoses and belts. Three speed transmission was completely rebuilt last year, I have receipts. New clutch also installed. The fuel tank was taken out and cleaned, new fuel pump installed at that time. Just had a new battery this month. New front shocks and front end alligned last year. Starts every time and runs well, does not heat up even in 90+ weather. Interior very nice and car was painted several years ago a 1953 Ford Green. Chrome is in good condition, except for the front bumper which needs to be re-chromed. Has orignal radio and optional windshield washer, which does not work. Wide white wall tires make car look great, fender skirts fit well. Has the large accessory Ford hubcaps. Lights, horn, turn signals and guages work. Please keep in mind that this a 58 year old car and not perfect, but very presentable and a good driver. All this car needs is someone who wants a nice older car who can take time to drive it around town. I get LOTS of complements when I drive it downtown for an afternoon ride.
