Vehicle Detail

My wife and I are selling her used 2001 Chevy Venture LS minivan. We bought it used from a nice individual, who was not the original owner. However, my wife has had several medical procedures, and a spinal fusion. She is considered disabled, and can't work, so we don't need two cars. It has been having some coolant/overheating issues, which I have read are common with this make, year, and engine. I don't really have the time, or the possible expense of $550~$1000 (guesstimates if an intake gasket is blown) to put into it, so my loss is your gain, especially if you can fix it cheap, and sell it for a profit. Here are the following details: It has a dent in the right rear fender, the rear brake light was broken, which I replaced with new. I could tell when I bought it, it has had body and paint work on the left front fender and door, and side door paint, (which someone saw fit to put a long scratch in.) The engine has not been leaking any fluids, until last week it overheated, and I spotted some coolant near the intake. I put a bottle of Bars Leak Gasket and Coolant Repair in it. The engine runs pretty smooth, a little sluggish lately though, no oil in the water, but it tends to overheat on longer trips, so it needs repair. I would not recommend anything but short, quick trips. The rear brakes make a strange, dull grabbing sound when stopping, and the mechanic found the drum pads were new, but the drums were not turned. They need to be turned or replaced to get rid of the noise, but they aren't hurting anything, according to him. The windows have dark factory privacy glass, a rear window defogger and wiper. The rear vent windows are electrically controlled. The front window regulators are slow, but work. I bought a full size spare tire and wheel for the van (it was missing). It has a luggage rack. An AM/FM/CD stereo. It has Dual A/C, which I have charged some (works). The heater isn't the greatest (possibly coolant issue). The right front tire has a very slow leak, and the tread of a couple tires look like they need replacing. The middle bench seat seat is split 60/40, is moveable and removeable, and they fold down. The rear bench is a full one, it folds, and is removeable. There is a storage organizer in back, but the lid supports are broken. I have two keys and one wireless (keyless entry) keyfob. There is a Technical Service Bulletin released for the lighting, which flickers some. Apparently the ground stud on the alternator has a repair kit available (not performed yet). This is a final sale, no returns. I have a clear title in hand. Local pickup only. I can make arrangements to accomodate meeting you, and viewing of the vehicle. Please ask any questions before bidding. I have done my best to provide the facts. The vehicle runs, but obviously needs (maybe serious) repair, and I am going to be honest in representing this fact to you. Thank you for looking, and God Bless!
