Up for auction is a 1956 Ford F250, with a V8 (292), and a 4 speed manual transmission. The truck is a PROJECT/ PARTS truck as I do not currently have a title for the truck. It was last registered in 1973. It's being sold with a Bill of Sale ONLY! The truck is pretty much complete, and even comes with the original key. The truck does run and drive, and it runs pretty darn good considering it sat for almost 40 years. The motor fires right up and does not smoke or knock at all. The engine doesn't leak any fluids either. The truck was on a farm, and spent it's whole life there, and I do not know the true mileage of the truck. The truck will be sold to the highest bidder, and there is NO RESERVE on the truck. Please feel free to ask any questions! THE TRUCK NEEDS A COMPLETE RESTORATION, BUT IS DRIVEABLE!! The trucks windshield is not cracked but, does have a few scratches from the wipers, the drivers glass is cracked, but the other glass are all in ok shape. The doors open and close well and line up pretty good also. There are rust bubbles on the lower edge of both doors that can be seen in the pics. The hood also has rust in the front lip of the hood. The frame does not show any signs of rust or serious body damage at all, and is very straight. The wood in the bed has rotted away, as well as the hold downs for the wood slats. The sides of the bed are in decent condition though. The engine starts right up with the key, but the generator is not working at this time, so it runs off the battery only. The gas tank needs to be flushed so it's running off a small gas can at this time. The fuel pump does work, and it can be driven up onto a truck or trailer no problem. The radiator lower tank needs to be repaired, and any water you pour in makes it's way back out! I basically got the truck to run and drive and that was it. The lights and wipers don't turn on, and I have no idea if it's a fuse or the switch. The transmission is a 4 speed granny gear with 4.88 gears that can pull a tank! The trans feels and shifts just fine, and does not leak any fluid either. The clutch works just fine also. The truck has rust in the passenger floor near the kick panel from a leaking heater core in the past. The other parts of the floor look very solid overall. There is surface rust and minor rust here and there on the truck. The pictures cover the truck pretty well. INFO: The car is a PROJECT/ PARTS TYPE TRUCK!!!. The TRUCK is NOT perfect by any means but it’s 61 years old also. Please know this before bidding. The truck may be inspected anytime BEFORE the auction closes! I may end the auction at anytime. The wining bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements. There is a $250.00 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the auctions end. The remaining balance is due within 3 days of the auction closing. ONLY THE DEPOSIT MAY BE PAID WITH PAYPAL, THE REMAINING BALANCE MUST BE CASH, OR A CASHIER'S CHECK. The truck must be picked up within 2 weeks of the auction closing.
