You are bidding on a 1997 Jeep Wrangler. This is a great car, but I have to sell it for something with an automatic transmission. It runs well, and it recently had the top replaced with a brand new one This is the Sport model which includes upgrades from the base SE model. Most notably this Jeep has the larger 4.0 Liter engine. It has a 5-speed manual transmission. The power steering appears to leak a minimal amount of fluid; replacing the seal would probably take care of it, but it’s so slow I just top the fluid off every few months. It has airbags on both the driver and passenger side. It has an AM/FM radio. The car also has air-conditioning, but the air it is blowing is not very cold; it may just need a recharge, but I have not gotten a chance to take it in. It also includes the rear seat and a special lock box that allows you to secure things in the tailgate area—without it the tailgate area is accessible simply by cutting or unzipping the top. Over all, the car is in good condition for its age—see the pictures for details. The front passenger fender is slightly dented—again see pictures—I had gotten an estimate years ago to get it fixed—I think the quote was just over $200, but it just didn’t bother me enough to take the time to get it fixed. A little under a year ago, the car was inspected as part of the North Carolina inspection process, and it passed without issue. I just has the Jeep into the shop and had work done on the cooling system. I had the radiator and water pump replaced, along with some other cooling system parts.
