Vehicle Detail
This is a great project or parts van ready for a VW enthusiast to bring it back to life. It does run and drive and the overall body is in decent shape for the year but needs a bunch of little work. Put it back together one weekend at a time and you could be in a nice Westphalia camper for way less then a ready to go unit. The van has a good working order pop up top and the tent is in good shape. No leaks or anything of that nature. All slider windows work fine. Has all the bells and whistles which came on the MV Weekender Westphalia. It does need the following: Exhaust from downpipe back, brake line is leaking, A/C compressor is seized, there is a crack in the windshield. The previous owner also took out the rear seats and they have been lost in time. Have priced them out and they are in the $300-$400 range for a coplete set of rear and the two captains chairs. Aside from that, the van is what it is...a project. Good matched set of Winterforce tires all around. There are small rust spots around the van with a dent on the passenger side and a larger rust spot on the passenger side door sill. So feel free to send along any questions you may have. Feel free to call 802-258-1550. This van should probably be trailered and should not be driven home. If you need to drive it home, feel free to ask for a repair quote on brakes, A/C compressor (has serpentine belt, so will have to be repaired), and exhaust. NO RESERVE...let it go where it goes.
