Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This listing is for my personal vehicle. It is a 1994 SAAB 9000 CSE 5 Speed manual transmission with 159,000 miles. As far as I know I am the third owner. Please read this description before getting involved so that you know exactly what I am offering. This car comes with a clear title. Ready to sign and hand over. Payment will be cash and carry within 7 days. Any questions or detail I have not added please email me ebay@auction-key.com. I have bought it used in 2005 115251 miles on it and have taken loving care of it. I did have a nanny driving it for about a year of that time. She managed to put a few blemished on the exterior but nothing major. PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM OFFERING THIS CAR 'AS IS' AND WILL DO MY VERY BEST TO DESCRIBE IT AS I UNDERSTAND IT. This car is far from perfect. This cars engine is rock solid. It is strong and runs really well. All the important comfort related controls work. The AC blows super cold. It should. I spent $1200 having the AC system fixed in 2006. The radio works well. There are several things that do not work. The big issue and primary reason I am selling this car is because it DOES NOT pass the Connecticut State Emissions test. IF your state requires an emissions test you will have to spend quite a bit investigating and correcting the failure issue. The cruise control. The rear wiper. The driver side heated seat. The passenger side seat back twists when you try to recline it. The car will lock but the key will not go into the driver door lock. It does not have keyless entry. It did not exist at that time for this car. The front passenger brake caliper sticks and sometimes causes the car to shake when driving. First time it happened it freaked me out. My mechanic has indicated that the calipers can be replaced to prevent the issue. They need to be replaced eventually or the wheel will just lock up on you. Not sure about cost. Like I say, his car is far from perfect. If you need a car for short trips or commuting this might make a good car. I have installed a new radiator. A new battery. The tires were installed in 2009 were recently rotated and have a ton of life left in them. The serpentine belt was replaced. If it broke I fixed it. If it did not work and was not totally mission critical I lived without it. I have not touched the timing belt.
