Up for "NO RESERVE" auction: 1998 BMW 540I Six Speed. Recently serviced, safety checked, and given a fresh oil change and filter....this 540 is mechanically sound. The brakes are all brand new. The front tires have about 80% tread life left, and the rear tires have about 50% tread left. The A/C is in great working condition. There are a few oil seeps, but nothing major. The engine runs very smooth and strong. The clutch is in great shape, as well as the transmission syncros. The shifter is a little bit tight but shifts through the gears with no problem. This is a very fun car to drive, and gets looks everywhere you go! For the age and mileage the exterior is in excellent condition. The paint is in great shape and has been professionally polished. The rims have some minor pitting on the lips, but not very noticeable. Also, there is a small chip in the windshield on the passenger side but does not appear to be spreading. The NON SMOKING interior is very clean and in excellent condition. The power leather seats show only minor wear. This is alot of car for the money, as you can see in the pictures there are quite a few cosmetic upgrades.
