*HIGHLY MODIFIED* "Dirty Mary" 1983 Honda CB1100F Super Sport This is a super sweet, clean, fresh and collectable F bike with a great history and even greater era specific aftermarket parts. When I purchased the bike in 2007, I wanted to learn as much history on the bike as possible, so I contacted the original owner Tryg Westby of Tulsa, Oklahoma for the details. Tryg, was a Honda dealer and club racer back in the 80's. In late 1983, he pulled the bike off the dealership floor to race it in the Open Super Stock division at Daytona. With minor mods, she won her inaugaral race with Tryg riding her and was destined for more. After a short, but successful career in Open Super Stock, Tryg decided to "hop" her up to race in the premier Open Super Bike Class. The engine was prepped and modified using the infamous Kaz Yoshima of Ontario Motor Works (OMT) cams, porting, 1125 piston kit etc. If you know anything about OMT, you know these parts are legendary and impossible to come by. Tryg also mentioned that there were many subtle mods to the motor to make it last for endurance reasons, but I don't know the specifics. She again won numerous races in Open Super Bike. Her nickname "Dirty Mary" was given to her by the pit crew for unmentionable reasons. In early 1984, Tryg was starting to focus on the emerging 750 Interceptor and the 1100F was retired and parked in the back of his shop for the next 20 years. In 2005, she found her way into the highly talented hands of F bike enthusiast Martin Hansen, where she was lovingly restored back to the street. Most are unobtainium. She's truly a one-of-a-kind bike that is guarantee to draw crowds wherever you go. I recently had her completely serviced including a brand new Battleax rear tire, oil, carbs cleaned and tuned etc. She's starts every time, handles great, solid shifting transmission, huge power, no odd noises. An absolute thrill to ride. Mileage is uncertain due to the lack of speedometer connection to the EPM race wheels. Martin suggested he put about 2k miles on it over two years and I would be surprised if I put any more than that as well. Even though I know of no problems and she came back with a clean report from the shop, she's 28 years old and is SOLD AS IS with no guarantee of any kind.
