1965 Ford Thunderbird 390V8 T-Bird Police Interceptor Special Up for bid is a Beautiful 1965 Ford Thunderbird 390V8. Same title and owner since 1978. Hard to find a car like this in this shape and with only two owners. This was definitely well taken cared of and was heartbroken to part with his T-bird. Engine was just rebuilt and almost new, brand new heads, new Edelbrock carburetor, new edelbrock aluminum intake, new flex fan, new aluminum radiator, etc. Transmission has been redone too and the rearend was serviced. It has new 2.5" aluminized dual exhaust with Magnaflows that gives deep throaty rumble. Paint was redone last year in Ford Dark Metallic Green and looks great. Looks black in different angle and at low lights. Looks very sharp and shiny base coat clear coat. Miles of smiles and lots of compliment and cost almost $4000. Under carriage is very clean. New shocks. Front bumper looks perfect, trims looks great. It is equipped with power disc brakes, tilt-away steering wheel (cool feature on Tbirds), rear defroster, radio, power windows, power driver seat, and tow package. Over $13k spent in this bird. Interior looks good for its age. Dash is perfect and looks great. Trims inside are excellent shape. Driver side door panel has some wear especially in the handle but all there. One tear in the driver seat bottom, passenger side looks good. Rear seats looks great no rip no tears. Headliner has no tears and looks good. Power window works, speedometer works, odometer works, horn works, wiper works, temp guage doesnt, amp works, pressure guage works, flashers work, clock doesn't, map lights and dome lights work and radio works and its pre-selector.
