1951 Mercury Sedan... -Motor/Trans- Good running 302 motor, c4 automatic trans, power brakes, dual exhaust, real batwing air cleaner, 66 mustang gas tank in the trunk with electric fuel pump, new custom driveshaft. -Body- Chopped and built by Morleys Kustoms Phx Az. Its a small shop that puts out some of the craziest rides in phx. Real unique Fastback Hardtop style chop staggered front to back, V-butted glass windshield, 50 mercury rear window grafted in, capped doors, No post suicide rear doors, Nosed, custom made headlights, sectioned Caddy front bumper, front wheel wells stretched, Decked, sectioned Caddy rear bumper, extended rear fins, stretched quarter bottoms and reshaped body line, extended trunk lid, frenched 59 caddy tailights, custom made fiberglass skirts.-Suspension- Stock front suspension with Fatman front discs and airbags, Rear is a 9" Ford with a 2 link setup with a panhard bar. Still on Schrader valves, needs tank, valves, compressor etc. G-78-15 wide whites with 57 caddy caps.-Interior- New white vinyl interior out of a 66 Ford Thunderbird with buckets up front and wraparound rear seat, Ididit Chrome tilt column with Flaming River Floor mount and Steering knuckle, Custom fabricated 59 Caddy steering wheel to be able to adapt to newer style column, Custom white wrapped dash panel with white Auto Meter Old Tyme gauges, there is sound deadner on the floors and in the trunk floor as well.. No headliner at this time.The Merc is not a trailer queen and was built to enjoy and drive. Has a unreal lead sled look to it and crazy in person. The body is good and in primer but will need minor body work before paint or leave as is like i was. The Interior needs carpet and headliner. The motor runs great but does need some cleaning up of the engine bay and motor..I just didnt get to that yet..And the biggest kicker is that just recently the transmission started to leak pretty heavily from the front. I believe it may be the front pump seal although i have not been under it yet to check. The tranny does still function besides the leak but should get it fixed before driving. Other than that this car demands respect wherever it goes and is one of the coolest sedans i have ever seen for sure and has more style than most 2 drs. If you have to ask your wife/girlfriend/mother/father/ if you can buy it.....its probably not the car for you!
