1977 Triumph Bonneville

This is a matching numbers 1977 Bonneville 750 project with a newly rebuilt engine. Date code NP makes it an October 77 manufacture. I found this bike in an automotive repair garage where it had sat for years. Because I don't like to see a vintage bike not being appreciated, I bought it and decided to find it a new home. Thinking that the major obstacle for many people is engine work, I completely rebuilt it from the bottom up. All new bearings,seals & gaskets (copper head ), new main & rod bearings (std.), fresh bore & .060 pistons & rings, valve job with new bronze guides & stainless exhaust valves, sludge trap cleaned, all aluminum bead-blasted & covers polished. Has coils, condensers, ignition (points), rectifier, horn still intact. I tried to assemble as many parts as I had in my garage to make this as near-complete as possible. Separate photos show 2 calipers, rear master cylinder & hardware, rear brake pedal and new throttle & clutch cables. Carbs have been ultrasonically cleaned & assembled to factory spec.I have not started the engine & it is delivered as a fresh rebuild with zero miles. The bike rolls freely and can be loaded for your shipper or truck. This bike is listed as a project because, aside from the rebuilt engine, it will require a complete cosmetic restoration and items like the brakes, wheels , wiring & other general stuff to be attended to by an experienced mechanic. There is a dent in the top rear frame rail (see photo) that looks like something fell on it. I have not had the frame checked, but when assembling the bike everything bolted-on without a problem.
