Up for sale is my 2001 Honda CBR 929rr sportbike. The bike is ready to ride anywhere needs nothing mechanically. It currently indicates 24,358 miles on the odometer. It may have a few hundred more miles by the time the auction ends. My title states 10,179 not actual miles with a reading of 9-7-10. I don't know what the miles are for sure it was branded that way when I bought it from the previous owner. No liens and its a clear title not rebuilt or salvaged. I just had a new back tire put on about 200 miles ago at the local honda dealer. The front tire is good yet and should last till the back one needs to be changed again. The breaks are good yet. The only flaw with the bike mechanically is 2nd gear. 6 speed trans. It was like this when I bought it and never realized it. 2nd gear has a bent shift fork it will hold on the low end to about 5K rpm anything over and 2nd will pop itself into neutral. Or if you take 1st gear to about red line and then shift into 2nd it will hold in the high rpm range. However the bike has so much power as it is you can shift from 1st to 3rd and just skip 2nd alltogether. The dealer told me about $200-$500 to fix it. 1st gear will pull wheelies like nothing just give it the gas and it will lift up lol. The bike has scratches and minor rash here or there look at the pics. Nothing is too terrible but it has been down lightly on gravel in the past. Up close you can see the imperfections but from the distance you can't really notice. If you are very anal you may want to just repaint the bike. Bike comes with 2 almost new helmets Mens XL size. Owners manual is under the seat allong with the tool bag. Battery was just replaced last year and is still great. The fuel mileage is 40-45mpg on average when I drive it. The bike is fuel injected and is very responsive and smooth. I don't want to sell the bike but I have some unexpected bills come up and I figured I would sell a few things. I don't drive the bike too much between my corvette and boat not to mention work. You could drive this bike home its turn key and ready to go.
