1982 VW Rabbit Diesel Caddy Pickup Truck In last 10,000 miles has had the following done to it. Timing belt Both front wheel bearings replaced New old stock leaf springs New rear shocks New front struts and coil springs New brake lines New brakes (rotors, pads, front calipers, drums, shoes, rear wheel cylinders) Amsoil bi-pass filtration system Amsoil Transmission fluid Shifter linkage bushing kit New block heater Rotopax 4 gallon diesel reserve tank mounted behind seat GTI 4 button steering wheel Fuel filter New old stock rear view mirror Air filter New headlights Amsoil oil change with premium 3000 heavy duty diesel oil (with bi-pass Filtration system and oil can get 8,000 miles on oil change) Is do for oil Change now. New glow plugs New rear license plate lights 4 wire trailer wiring kit 2 ½ “ receiver welded to after market heavy duty bumper New $100 battery today (just so buyer can hear it run) This came factory with a 4 speed converted to a 5 speed. From Factory no A/C and power steering. Radio does not work. Runs very good, but water pump went out last year when leaving work, has sat ever since. Original odometer says 155,216 miles. Gets 40mpg pretty consistent. Has been repainted, was maroon is now buckeye brown. Very good reliable work vehicle, great to have around the house for small jobs like landscaping and garbage removal. Can fit ATV in bed and has tie down points already installed. Has 2 ½” receiver welded to after market rear bumper to haul trailer. Flaws: Water pump leaking. You will need to put on trailer from my work place. Can fill coolant reservoir and can start vehicle to show it runs. Found rear view mirror off. Went to open hood and cable broke (New one will come with truck). I have amsoil products and have accumulated many parts that can be bought at point of sale will just need to drive 30 minutes from vehicle to my house where parts are.
