2002 Chevy Venture Minivan LOW RESERVE!!! Please read the following description carefully and thoroughly. Winning bidder agrees to the purchase the vehicle in "as is" condition within the time frame indicated in the listing. $100 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of auction end via paypal and the balance is due in cash or certified funds in person on or before June 14, 2011. We bought this van in 2003 from the dealer with less than 30k miles. It has treated us great over the years, but about 2 months ago it began making a noise in the engine. The mechanic has informed me that it has a "collapsed lift".... whatever that means. We have not driven it since it began making the noise, except to have it looked at. We are not interested in spending the money to repair it as we are in need of a pick-up truck! The van would be worth repairing as it still looks really good inside and out as you can see from the photos. There is some rust along the bottom of the doors as you can also see and a small dent in the tailgate which is hardly noticeable. There are some little things, like a bad motor on the rear windshield wiper, a small quarter-sized hole in the driver's side seat, but overall this is still a really nice van!! All of the rear seats can be completely removed so that it offers tons of cargo space as well. The van will start and run down the road, but I would not suggest driving it until repairs are made to the engine. Van is available for local pick-up only in Hastings Michigan which is halfway between Grand Rapids and Battle Creek, in Barry County. Van can be seen and started up in Hastings by appointment only.
