Hello. Up for consideration here today is my 1987 Honda Helix CN250 scooter. It's 250cc's, fully automatic and liquid cooled. Runs great, turn key no mechanical issues. Brand new front and rear matched kenda dual sport style tires. Clutch was rebuilt last year (new springs, new pads, new mounting rubber), drive belt was replaced with a gates belt (flops around a little bit when first started but goes away), MRP 1500rpm main spring and 19gram DR. pulley sliding weights (helps on the takeoffs and hill climbing capability), final drive oil just changed, air filter just changed, engine oil was changed at the end of last year. The digital display works perfectly and is bright as it should be. I have not been driving it as I have other bikes, so it's time to go. I've taken it on 100 mile trips with no problem, really easy to drive. I also flushed/bled the front brake last year and put in new fluid as preventative maintenance. The inspection just ran out but I will have it inspected before the new owner comes and picks it up. I personally have had the bike to 70mph, so its highway capable and with a lighter person could go faster. With gas prices so high this would make a great commuter for the summer and fall, it practically sips fuel. I also have the original owners manual and the bike still has the original tool kit underneath the mat in the rear trunk. Cosmetically it isn't as strong as it used to be, paint is faded in a few spots, has some scratches, windshield is fogged up in some spots, missing the coolant overflow cover, rear passenger backrest needs to be recovered but the main seat is perfect and soft. I have the clear title in my name. I encourage potential bidders to come and take a look at the bike and ask any questions before they bid so they know exactly what they are getting, that way either party has no surprises on pickup. I will not ship this bike, but I could assist with local delivery for the cost of fuel (needs to be worked out before auction end). If you would like to test drive the bike you need to have a valid motorcycle license and some collateral, no joyrides, too many scams nowadays.
