Vehicle Detail

This is a Model A ford based Modified roadster/ speedster. It has the period look and the stance of the old dry lake racers. The body is a 28-29 cowl with a custom handbuilt rear section and floor made of 18ga. sheetmetal, and a super strong tubular subframe. The gas tank is the original cowl tank, which was cleaned and coated, and has a new petcock and sediment bowl. The paint is a near flawless professional job, and is a light green that just has that perfect early look to it. You can count on getting alot of comments on the paint, it's the first thing people ask about, it's just perfect! The dash is the stock style setup and the windshield is custom built from a model T windshield frame and has real glass in it. Steering column is a Model A that has been shortened, but still uses the spark advance and throttle rods, and is topped with a original Model T wheel. Interior is simple with a comfortable bench seat that was professionally stitched and covered. The Frame is 2x3 box tube with a stock model A rear crossmember and a repop '32 front crossmember, and is powdercoated gloss black. The front has a Superbell I beam axle with a posies spring, hairpins, Model A spindles, and '40 hubs. The rear end is a Model A, rebuilt with all new bearings, races and seals, and uses a stock spring. It rides great with this setup, no problem running down dirt, or rough roads. The engine and trans came out of a '31 roadster, and is all stock so it runs like a sewing machine. It has been converted to 12 volts and has a brand new one wire alternator. The radiator is a stock 28-29, and it never gets hot or boils over and It has a temp gauge tucked up under the dash so you can only see it sitting in the car. It has only rear brakes, but on a car this light it stops great. They are the Model A brakes that have been converted to hydraulic using the stock backing plates and drums, so it retains the stock early look, and has custom installed juice internals and uses a '40 style master cylinder. Wheels are powdercoated 19" Model A with brand new Lucas tires, they run out nice and true. This car is built right, nothing to hide and all the welding is professionally mig and tig welded, no sketchy stuff here. Please ask questions if you have any, I'm sure I left stuff out, and look at the pictures good I tried to capture it at all angles. It has a clear Florida 1924 Ford roadster title. This is a super cool early style hot rod, you wont be disappointed. Thanks for looking!
