Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 2008 Triumph Scrambler. Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself. I have been diagnosed with OCD. I rotate my socks and underwear. I've already washed my hands 3 times since I've started this description. This bike could absolutely be sold as new. The pictures do NOT make it look better, what you see is what you get. There are no marks or flaws on this bike whatsoever. I have meticulously installed the usual mods: British Customs performance kit, Predator exhaust, airbox removal, rejet carbs, upgraded signal lights, etc. I always use proper crimps, diaelectric grease (even though it gets my nitrile gloves dirty) and shrink tape. I even use clear helicopter tape on the frame where ever contact may occur, like behind the K&N filters, or underneath the skid plate brackets. I do NOT like any scratches on the frame, and there are NONE. The skid plate was modified so that the oil can be changed without having to remove it, but I remove it anyways so I can clean it better. There is a mark on the skid plate from the dealers floor jack (when they replaced tires last year). The headlight has been upgraded to a 7 inch. New tires have approximately 2500 miles on it. The ammo box was powder coated in a textured matte black finish (inside too) and mounted to a modified Norman Hyde rail from the UK. I took the rail to a machine shop and had it reinforced and powder coated. Extremely sturdy. THE ODOMETER IS IN KILOMETERS, NOT SURE WHY BUT THAT'S THE WAY IT CAME. It took me a year before I realized it - good news is the oil was changed more frequently because I thought the reading was actual miles. Last year with REAL carbs! Runs and sounds incredible. Selling because I just bought a new T100. Chapstick included. Good luck and happy bidding. On May-28-11 at 22:55:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Original Triumph accessory tachometer installed. Original side panels included - was removed for the photo only. On May-29-11 at 06:15:48 PDT, seller added the following information: *** I am the original owner, and purchased this bike new.
