1978 MGB - I am the third owner purchasing from my uncle in 5/2002.  He was the second owner and purchased it in 1978.  The car is in good condition - runs great.  All gauges and accessories work.  Top is newer (1998) and in great condition as is the boot cover.  The tonneau cover looks good but the zipper down the middle has lost it's grip.  No cracks on the dash or tears to the seats.  The carpets could be replaced.  Their is no rust on the car which had a Zeibart rust protectant sprayed on back in 1978. Everything on the car is stock except for the ANSA exhaust which was added when the smog equipment was removed.  I have replaced the driveshaft, brake master cylinder and hoses, replaced engine mounts, rebuilt the carb with new gaskets and seals, repaired any vacuum leaks, adjusted choke, added new throttle return springs, replaced gearbox mounts, front suspension fulcrum pins, control arm bushings, upper fulcrum pin bushings, rear spring shackle bushings both sides.  Replaced the alternator and both cooling fan motors. Car was just inspected and all fluids were changed as well as spark plugs, fuel filter, distributor cap, ignition wire set and coil. The paint is in OK condition with some very minor dents and scratches.  There is a crease in the middle of the trunk lid where someone tried to shut it without pushing the release button on the support strut.  It is shown in the pictures.  It does not leak. Selling the MG for garage space for my soon to be driving daughter - It will be missed as it has been in my family since 1978!
