tempest lemans tempest convertible with a 326 v-8 and powerglide, power steering, drum brakes original color was gold with a gold interior. NO TITLE, BUT I DO HAVE A PREVIOUS VERMONT REGISTRATION that will get you registered in many states that require a title on an older car please do your homework on this before bidding!!! 79000 miles or so, runs drives and shifts good, brake works good, car has been sitting for awhile and mechanically is all original, if you were going to drive it any long distance it would need some new belts. otherwise i think it would be fine.car has brand new radial tires. It is unknown were the car originated from but it was stored in a barn for 20 years before being purchased and put on the road about 5 or 6 years ago without much being done other then an amateur paint and body job, tires and tranny service although the car is REAL SOLID as you can see from the pictures it had a amateur body and paint job a few years back , it had the rear lower quarters patched, the door corners patched, all trim removed, and behind the rear tires the corners of the inner fenders were patched,. the bodywork is VERY wavy and there is some bondo from dents and the like, the body man brazed in all the trim and emblem holes,the body is not not anywhere as nice as it looks in the photos, the hood and trunk lid look in good shape, the floors are really nice from the bottom side, i pulled away the carpet from the drivers floor and if you look at the photo it is very solid, no patchwork and any of the floors, all original!! the trunk floor extensions are all real nice, the center trunk has some pitting and may need replacing, the rear section of the trunk is all good, and in the photo you can see the inside of the quarters are original and only the very lower was fixed, most of the rear wheel wells still show the spot welds, inners wheelhouses are REAL NICE!! frame is in EXCELLENT condition and never hit, i could not find any pinholes or problems, underside of car is real dry and looks to be rust free The interior is ROUGH and was dyed red from the original gold, front seat latch is not working so the seat back is propped up with a block top is a manual top and is all intact but old and faded no back window, and stained, all the glass is nice and fits real good!. doors shut good all the bumpers and trim are straight and presentable, car has re pop taillight lenses engine compartment is all complete and original with the stock air cleaner, it is greasy and untouched, no leaks from the engine or trans I CONCENTRATED THE PHOTOS TO MOSTLY THE UNDERCARRIAGE, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS CAR SHOULD BE RESTORED!!!! , as the interior and cosmetics needs redoing anyway and this car should be totally restored or cloned to a GTO , it is all running and driving PLEASE CALL ME AT 802 989 3814 MIKE ANYTIME BEFORE 9 EASTERN TIME TO ASK QUESTIONS, I AM HONEST AND IF YOU PURCHASE AND DO NOT LIKE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY, YOU JUST LOOSE THE 300 DEPOSIT TO COVER THE AUCTION LOW LOW LOW RESERVE AS I WANT TO SELL!!
