Up for auction is my very rare and stunning special order color Orion Blue 2005 CLK500 Cabriolet with the AMG body package (sculpted front air dam, side skirts, rear apron, and spoiler), custom wheels with body color matched inserts, and lots of options.This has been my daily driver for the past 2+ years, and is a thrill to drive. As the pictures show, there are no dents or dings, and the paint and interior are excellent. Factory options include the special order color ($1150), Charcoal Leather Interior, Wood/Leather Steering Wheel ($520), 6-Disc CD Changer (Factory installed) ($420), Heated Front Seats ($680), Keyless Go System ($1060), and the Lighting Package ($990). The car has the following: insulated all-season fully automatic soft top; removable wind deflector; digital dual-zone auto climate control; leather upholstery; burl walnut wood trim; auto-dimming rear/driver's side mirrors; cruise control; 10-speaker Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 sound system with BOTH single-disc CD AND factory-installed 6-Disc Cd Changer in glove box; AM/FM Weatherband (car is also wired for Sirius Satellite radio); 10-way electric adjustable front seats with 3-position memory; front seats with easy entry feature; multifunction steering wheel; electric adjustable tilt/telescoping steering column; power front and rear windows (front with express up/down); smart key with soft top operation; intermittent wipers with rain sensor; prewired for optional cell phone integration kit/SIRIUS Satellite radio; integrated garage door opener. The performance of the car is amazing -- it puts out 302 stock hp at 5600pm, with 339 lb-ft torque at 2700-4250 rpm. It is run through a 7-speed automatic transmission w/ Touch Shift control. In the Sport mode, the adaptive transmission adjusts to your particular style of driving. For added power and a great sound, I added a stainless steel Remus twin exhaust. I also had deep dish chrome Ruff 931 wheels installed, and had the inserts custom-painted to match the body color. The resulting look is stunning and unique, and I receive tons of compliments on the car everywhere I go. I defy you to find another CLK500 Cabriolet in this rare Orion Blue anywhere. I have the original window sticker ($67,420.00), all of the books, and all of the records since my ownership, as well as some prior records. The Car Fax is clean, Paint is all original, except for the front lower spoiler, which has been repainted and looks like new. The car runs and performs flawlessly. There is not one thing, mechanical, electrical, or otherwise, that does not work. Everything works perfectly. The electric convertible top goes up and down perfectly, the top is in excellent condition, and the car accelerates like a bat out of hell. There is not a tear or other imperfection in the leather o r the carpeting. Anything the car has ever needed, it gets -- I have spent thousands keeping it in its pristine condition. All major and minor services have always been performed timely at Euro MotorCars (Germantown, MD), and the car needs literally nothing. I have always used synthetic oil, and the next oil change is not due for about another 5000 miles. The HID Xenon headlights are incredible as well. I am an avid car collector and enthusiast, am selling this beauty and my Ferrari to downsize my collection a bit.
