1986 Honda Interceptor

The bike was bought around 4 years ago as a project bike and it has been ridden off and on since that time. The title was lost from the original owner and it currently has a surety title from Georgia which can be signed over and registered to the winning bidder without issue. It has not been ridden much in the past year and will need some work to get it running reliably, see below. The Good: - Like new tires (Metzler in the front with Bridgestone in the rear) - Carbs recently cleaned - Repainted around 3 years ago. There is a place on the top of the fuel tank that was damaged from gasoline. Paint in this area is discolored with bubbly appearance. Otherwise, paint job looks good from a few feet away, but there are some minor imperfection on close up inspection.- SuperTrapp dual exhaust system- New K&N air filter - Digital voltometer and multifunction gauge mounted to the dash. The Bad: - Currently not running. Bike ran fine last time it was started up, around a year ago. We thought it was due for carb cleaning and after spending a weekend cleaning the carbs and troubleshooting, it appears the fuel pump is bad. It will need a fuel pump, possibly fuel pump relay and/or battery. - Bike ran smooth last year and the video below was taken this past weekend showing the bike starting and running briefly with carb cleaner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYvVIP0MbB4 - Some of the fairing mounts have cracked, see detailed photos, but everything remains tight and secure. The bike is listed as a project bike, because it is currently not running. I am listing this bike for my brother who owns it. The bike is located in Augusta, GA.
