Very rare, this 2000 Isuzu VehiCross is one of 135 ever produced by Isuzu Japan in year 2000 in the Silver with gray/black interior combination. Only 4153 VehiCross where produced between 1999 to 2001 plus 1805 units that were made for the Japanese local market. No other Isuzu VehiCross ever produced after the initial limited production of 5,958 world wide, so this is sure to become a collectible that will appreciate in value every year! Before the description of the VehiCross in this auction, here is a little history for those of you who are not familiar with this very special car: The VehiCROSS was originally unveiled as a concept vehicle at the 1993 Tokyo International Auto Show. Its ultimate Japanese production release in 1997 was notable in that the production vehicle arrived with very few design changes and in a very short time. This feat was accomplished through the use of inexpensive ceramic body-stamping dies and the reuse of readily-available Isuzu parts. The truck was intended to showcase Isuzu's off-road technology, and is one of the few vehicles to ship with monotube shocks with external heat-expansion chambers, a technology normally reserved for off-road motorcycle racing. Motor Trend magazine featured the VehiCROSS on its May 1999 cover, and included it in its "Top 10 Sport Utilities" for Most Unique Styling. This car is all stock, with a few extras and upgrades that just been installed 500 miles ago. Brand new GoodYear Ultra Grip 245/70/R16 tires on Original Isuzu polished aluminum wheels. This car rides best on 16 inch wheels with better ground clearance over the 18 inch wheels, these rims came off a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo together with matching FULL SIZE spare tire/wheel. The mini spare was taken out to free up the space in the rear door storage compartment. Brand new brakes and rotors, front and back. Brand new KYB Monomax gas shocks front and back. Jensen 7 inch Radio/DVD/MP3/CD USB Touch Screen sound system with pop up screen and Reverse Camera. The camera is installed on the rear door mounted internally in the half wheel rear cover. This model is a Single DIN In-dash player with Navigation and bluetooth capabilities (bluetooth and nav not installed but the unit is plug and play) Power Output: Peak: 40 watts x 4. Bright white Daylight Running light, replacing the original orange color signal light. Tinted windows 30% (legal limit) in front windows and 50% in rear. Full size spare tire and matching wheel, same as all other wheels on car. Front Bull Bar/Bumper guard eCoated in Black Finish. (this is easy to remove, not welded) All badges removed, the Isuzu logo on the wheels small cup cover is hidden with removable black tape. Mechanically this car is in excellent condition, everything works like it should, ice cold air-condition, all electronic are in optimal condition. The body is very clean, apart for a small dent/scratch on the rear plastic that cover the hatch door. This is due to a minor fender-bender back in 2008, while exiting a parking lot, a minivan behind came too clost and dented the rear door. The door was replaced but the old cover was used since it wasn't damged just scratched. Please take a look at the picture for full detail. Engine runs great, very powerful, well taking care of on a regular basis. Transmission shifts excellent with no issues, it has the winter and "sport mode" option that you can switch in to if you like to have a little more power or "winter mode" if you need to drive on snow or ice. This car is located in Fairfeild New Jersey, about 20 miles south of New York City, right off US highway 46. Feel free to come and take it for a test drive.
