1986 Porsche 944 5-Speed Low Original Miles! Here is a nice 1986 Porsche 944 5-Speed. This car has very low miles and has been well maintained. This car is ready to cruise just in time for summer! Mechanically, this Porsche runs and drives great. It is powered by the 2.5L Non-Turbo engine with 5-Speed transmission. The engine runs smoothly and starts right up. The transmission shifts great and the clutch master cylinder was replaced recently. There is a small noise when shifting into third gear occasionally, this may be fixed by having the clutch adjusted. It is very minor, but I like to describe the car exactly the way it is. The A/C is not presently working, The power windows work great, and it has a nice JVC CD player. The brake pads and rotors were both replaced recently. It has also had an extensive tune-up as well as a new battery. The interior is decent. It could definitely benefit from a nice detail. The leather on the seats is still nice with no major rips or tears. The carpet is in decent shape too. The exterior is decent as well. This is not a show winning car by most people's standards, however it is a sharp car for cheap money. The paint has some oxidation and some minor imperfections. Like with the interior, this car could really use some TLC on the paint. A little time with a buffer would really have this Porsche shining! The wheels are Ronal aluminum, and are 16" in diameter. The tire size is 225/50/16. The tires are ok. This Porsche does have the Moonroof and still has the leather cover for it. A car cover is also included with this car.
