Up for sale is my daily driver, a 1999 Saturn SL1 4-Door sedan. I use this as my commuter car, but recently picked up a newer Accord to replace it. The car isn't perfect, but it's been dead nuts reliable since I've owned it (for 3 years, I'm the second owner). The car has an automatic transmission, air conditioning, traction control (great in the snow), anti-lock brakes and a 1.9L 4 Cylinder SOHC engine. The check engine light is NOT on, and the car has passed emissions recently. The engine has a new radiator and water pump, and I get about 35 MPG on the highway, 40 MPG on longer trips. The interior is very clean, with no major rips, tears or stains. The tires also have a decent amount of tread left on them. Pics can be seen at the following address: https://picasaweb.google.com/108240479726793831821/1999SaturnSL1?authkey=Gv1sRgCNSoj5jCofviowE&feat=directlink The car is in good working order, and I use it every day to commute to work, but in the interest of honesty, I will disclose EVERYTHING that I know that is wrong with the car, as I am selling it "as-is". 1 - The engine runs rough at idle. It does not ever stall, just sputters. If the A/C is on, it does not do it as much. I'm not sure what is causing this, but it could just need a tune up. Once the car starts moving, you can't even notice it, and it runs especially well on the highway. I had the compression tested, and everything checked out fine.2 - Both grab handles for the rear passengers have fallen off (See pics). You can get these parts at a junkyard for very little money.3 - The rear passenger headliner has a small tear (see pics).4 - There are some scratches on the body, but nothing major. No major dents, rust, damage, etc.5 - The rotors need to be re-surfaced or replaced. I will fix this BEFORE selling you the car.6 - The exhaust is a little loud and needs to be sealed up where two of the pipes meet. I will put some exhaust sealer at this point before selling the car, and hopefully this will fix the problem.7 - The timing chain cover gasket leaks a LITTLE bit. There are maybe a few drops on the ground under where I park the car. It's been doing this for 3 years and has not gotten any worse. I will have my mechanic try to seal this up with silicone BEFORE selling you the car.8 - The light bulb for the dash is out. It could use a new bulb if you care. Buyer will have to arrange any shipping, if desired. I have the title in hand. If you would like any more pictures of specific areas, feel free to request, and I will upload them.
