Up for auction is a 1977 Porsche 924 Martini Edition otherwise known as "Championship Edition Package". This is a unrestored survivor car with 42,000 original miles. This fine example of the car was stored for over 25 years and recently brought back to full road worthiness. This is a two owner car with the second owner having owned it since 08/04/78. The car is complete and fully functional with exceptional power and flawless shifting with the manual 4 speed gear box. Interior condition is excellent with no rips or tears, carpet shows no signs of wear. Dashboard does have some cracks but they are fairly small . Exterior of vehicle is in excellent condition with no rust and no repainted body panels. Some touch ups have been made over the years but nothing significant. I did note some very small dings in a couple of the body panels but they are only door dings that could probably be removed with paint-less dent removal if desired, again unless you are looking for them, they are not really visible! All of the Martini edition decals are in place and in good condition with the exception of the stripe on the passenger rear quarter panel which is showing some discoloration directly under fuel filler cap from some sloppy fill ups over the years! These decals are available online for $75.00 if replacement is desired but then they are not original. The car is already in showable condition and with very little work could be a class winner! Interior condition is excellent with no rips or tears, some of the pictures show seat coloration to be washed out but that was merely the way the camera with flash took them, they are color matched to the rest of the interior. carpet shows no signs of wear. Dashboard does have some cracks but they are fairly small . Exterior of vehicle is in excellent condition with no rust - including in the spare tire area and storage compartments,the visible red areas is factory installed carpet to eliminate rattles or in the case of the side storage compartments - it is red carpet fuzz that is removable by hand and it has no signs of having any repainted body panels.
